Eldwick Law have acted for a number of state-owned entities, providing advice, representation and guidance on investment treaty arbitrations (including bilateral investment treaties and the Energy Charter Treaty).
Our multi-lingual, multi-qualified team of lawyers are able to carry out arbitrations under the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), or in ad-hoc arbitrations under the UNCITRAL rules. We also have experience and knowledge of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), the International Court of Arbitration (ICC), and the Vienna International Arbitration Centre (VIAC).
As a boutique disputes firm, with an international presence, we are able to quickly assemble a team of lawyers covering the laws of the contracting states, and knowledge of the right arbitrators for any given dispute.
Our Arbitration Team works closely with our London based Commercial Litigation team in the enforcement of investor state arbitration awards.
